Mr Bilson Tay is the Managing Director of SSW Healthcare, bringing over two decades of regional business development and supply chain expertise, alongside a proven track record of operational excellence. Since joining SSW Group in 2015, he has held pivotal leadership roles, progressing from Director of Business Development to Business Unit General Manager and Head of Medical Logistics. Under his strategic direction, SSW Healthcare continues to engineer resilient, technology-driven solutions specifically tailored for highly regulated sectors.
A cornerstone of his leadership includes steering mission-critical milestone achievements. Notably, Bilson championed SSW Healthcare operational deployment during national crises, leading the complex logistics infrastructure that supported critical COVID-19 community initiatives and essential medical supplies distribution. Furthermore, he spearheaded the strategic layout and implementation of SSW Healthcare’s purpose-built Central Warehouse, successfully scaling its infrastructure to meet stringent local and global regulatory compliance standards while integrating a highly specialized National Central Fill Pharmacy ecosystem.
Prior to driving SSW Group’s expansion, Bilson spent more than 13 remarkable years in Greater China, mastering complex operating landscapes across precision engineering, manufacturing, global shipping, and logistics consulting. This deep international exposure honed his expertise in cross-border trade, large-scale air freight management, and securing global certifications. An entrepreneurial leader committed to future-proofing the industry, he actively champions cross-border logistics collaboration and supply chain digitalisation.
An engineer by training, Bilson holds a Bachelor of Engineering Management from the University of Western Sydney and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic. Beyond his corporate responsibilities, he actively contributes to local community development and youth leadership growth, currently serving as the Assistant Secretary of the Maris Stella High School Alumni Executive Committee.
